The Polaris Observatory is an initiative of the CDA Foundation that provides epidemiological data, modeling tools, training, and decision analytics to support the global elimination of hepatitis B and C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Polaris delivers the most up-to-date estimates of hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV) disease burden and economic impact and helps countries design practical, evidence-based elimination strategies including sustainable financing approaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our multidisciplinary teams of epidemiologists and analysts work directly with governments, health systems, researchers, and civil society partners in more than 110 countries and territories<\/strong>. Together, we assess current and future disease burden, model the health and economic consequences of action and inaction, and develop strategies aligned with country-defined elimination targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through strong country-level and regional partnerships, Polaris collects and analyzes data for its global platform and publishes key findings to inform policy and program decision-making. To date, Polaris researchers have contributed to over 65 peer-reviewed publications<\/strong> on hepatitis epidemiology and economic impact, including articles in The Lancet<\/em>, Journal of Viral Hepatitis<\/em>, and Journal of Medical Economics<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
