I believe that the most important component of successful therapy is the trust and connection between the client and his or her therapist. It is my intention to build a trusting relationship and to embark on a collaborative journey with each client. My passion is working with people to help them overcome obstacles, to enable them to reach and maintain goals to live a happier, healthier and more fulfilling life. I am an empathetic listener, compassionate and sincere in my desire to be of service by creating a safe environment for clients to explore ideas, to create goals and to practice new techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My practice includes working with individuals, couples and families. I am experienced in the treatment of depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, relationship issues, life transitions, phobias, self-esteem, anger management, addictions, grief and loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Image Transformation Therapy (ImTT). I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and am a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) as well as incorporating components of other theories in my practice to meet the needs of each client. I also utilize Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Tapping Therapy, mindfulness and meditation. When working with couples I combine Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Gottman Therapy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
