I believe even a small shift in insight, understanding or behavior can create meaningful change. I also believe that each person is the expert of their own inner world; others can only know what a person chooses to share. It’s a privilege to be invited into that space and walk alongside individuals and families as they make sense of their experiences, emotions, and relationships in pursuit of a life that is meaningful. When I’m not in session, you will find me spending time with family, being in nature, reading books, or binge watching a good drama series.

Who I Work With

Children (5+)

Teens

Adults

Families

Specialties & Clinical Focus

I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, unhelpful behavior, and challenges related to family and parenting. I have experience working with neurodiverse individuals and their caregivers navigating emotional, behavioral, and social difficulties.

My Approach

My work is informed by a blend of modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and Emotion Focused Family Therapy. I am also certified in the Collaborative Problem Solving® (CPS) approach developed by Think:Kids, a program based in the Department of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital. I integrate these methods flexibly based on each client's needs and goals.

Education

Master of Social Work, University of Oklahoma

What Clients Can Expect

If you choose to work with me, you can expect a therapist who is fully present in the room with you – someone who listens closely and approaches your experiences with respect and genuine curiosity. I believe human connection itself is a powerful agent of change, and I work to cultivate a relationship where growth can take root. I draw from attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, client-centered and humanistic principles, and trauma-informed care. I view problems broadly, therefore our work may include reflecting on your internal world as well as the relationships, environments, and systems that shape it.

I invite feedback throughout our work, knowing that open dialogue strengthens connection and allows us to adjust course in ways that support progress. When working with children and teens, I incorporate developmentally appropriate, playful strategies to support communication and emotional growth. I utilize attunement and co-regulation to foster connection and a sense of emotional and physical safety. Additionally, I deeply enjoy partnering with parents to extend progress beyond the therapy room.

["
53,50
228,223
224,230,225,227,226,229
46,47,25,177,29,32,35,36,134,37
222

13
39
38
41,10,5,7
100,15,84,62,16,116,44,21
post-589","wt-staff_therapist","type-wt-staff_therapist","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","wt-staff_access-in-person","wt-staff_access-online","wt-staff_ages-adults","wt-staff_ages-children","wt-staff_ages-elderly","wt-staff_ages-preteens","wt-staff_ages-teens","wt-staff_ages-toddlers","wt-staff_approach-acceptance-and-commitment-act","wt-staff_approach-attachment-based","wt-staff_approach-cognitive-behavioral-cbt","wt-staff_approach-collaborative-problem-solving-emotionally-focused-family-therapy","wt-staff_approach-dialectical-behavior-dbt","wt-staff_approach-exposure-response-prevention-erp","wt-staff_approach-motivational-interviewing","wt-staff_approach-person-centered","wt-staff_approach-relational","wt-staff_approach-strength-based","wt-staff_cert-asw","wt-staff_gender-female","wt-staff_language-english","wt-staff_race-white","wt-staff_service-child-therapy","wt-staff_service-family-therapy","wt-staff_service-individual-therapy","wt-staff_service-teen-therapy","wt-staff_specialty-adhd","wt-staff_specialty-anxiety","wt-staff_specialty-behavioral-issues","wt-staff_specialty-child","wt-staff_specialty-depression","wt-staff_specialty-oppositional-defiance-odd","wt-staff_specialty-parenting","wt-staff_specialty-self-esteem
["GET
