The data collected on the ‘Polaris Access’ and ‘My Profile’ pages may be used by the CDA Foundation (“us”, “the Foundation”) in order to: Grant access to the Polaris Observatory Member site And/or Compile a list of authors and collaborators for possible inclusion as authors or collaborators in our publications The data is used by us to: Contact prospective authors (“you”) and/or collaborators (“you”) for interest in collaboration on publications. And/or Grant access to researchers (“you”), community groups (“you”) and other entities (“you”) determined by us to the Polaris Observatory data. By signing up to access the Observatory, you do not have to be an author or otherwise involved with our publications in order to view the data. Other than for contact with authors and/or collaborators and inclusion in publications, the data is not used for any purpose within or outside of the Foundation. The data may be stored on servers physically located in the United States of America and, as such, are subject to the laws of that country. If you wish to delete your account and information, you can delete your account under the ‘My Account’ tab under the menu on the ‘My Profile’ page. Notify us and we will delete any of your information stored in our internal databases, as well. Please note that this will remove your contact information from the list of authors and collaborators and we will be unable to contact you for inclusion in future publications.
