From January 2019 until March 2019, Mr. Alton was Gilead’s interim chief executive officer. Prior to that, he was the company’s chief patient officer, responsible for Gilead’s government affairs, public affairs, patient outreach, and engagement initiatives, as well as efforts to facilitate access to its medicines around the world.

She is Chair of Resolution Therapeutics Ltd and a Non-Executive Board Member of several listed and private companies including Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC, Ascendis Pharma A/S, Immedica Pharma AB. Lisa also advises Syncona Ltd and DRI Capital. In her executive career she was Chief Commercial & Corporate Affairs Officer and President of International for Intercept Pharmaceuticals.
Lily is the President and Program Director of The John C. Martin Foundation, a private nonprofit organization working to bring improved healthcare to socially and economically underserved populations. Prior to the Foundation, she had over 20 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She directed discovery biology research and clinical studies, and managed regulatory and medical affairs in several pharma and biotech companies focusing on disease areas including viral hepatitis and inflammatory diseases like lupus.
Petr Jan Pajas is a Czech physicist, civic leader, and recognized expert in nonprofit law and civil society development. He studied nuclear and theoretical physics at Charles University in Prague and continued at Lomonosov University in Moscow, graduating in 1963. He began his career at the Institute of Nuclear Research near Prague and held international research appointments in Italy and the United Kingdom. In 1972, following his opposition to the 1968 occupation of Czechoslovakia, he was expelled from the Academy of Sciences.
Homie Razavi is the Founder and Managing Director of the Center for Disease Analysis Foundation. He leads epidemiological and decision-analysis initiatives to quantify disease burden, forecast trends, and support national strategy development in more than 100 countries. His team established the Polaris Observatory, the leading global registry for hepatitis epidemiology and treatment data, which informs policy and tracks progress toward WHO elimination targets.
Armin is a physician with 26 years of experience specializing in Pain Management, practicing in St. Luke's hospital in Chesterfield, Missouri. He earned his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed a residency in Anesthesiology and was a chief resident at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. He also completed a fellowship training in Pain Management at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Armin is board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management.
Tina is the co-founder and a director of Kaspian, LLC, a real estate holding company. She is a UCLA trained mindfulness facilitator and is also certified by the International Mindfulness Teachers Association at the professional level. Previously, Tina was a preschool and junior high school teacher, and a preschool director. She holds a certificate from the Monterey Intensive Tutoring in Reading Program and has a BA in Psychology from the University of Colorado, Denver.
